First Bike Ride
This week past weekend was my first ride with my new bike, and it was a hell of experience.
I bought my bike at Cycle Shack SM Megamall(due to credit card terms and big discount). So I tried to tale it home by standing in line at the taxi bay. An hour passed by and no taxi came. So I decided to try my luck at the fx terminal. The dispatcher agreed that I can put my bike at the back of the fx provided I play for the other seats. 2 hours passed and no fx insight. Turns out, EDSA became a huge parking lot. Luckily, a van came that was bound for Monumento. I took the chance and rode it. I arrived at SM Northed later and tried to take a taxi, but they don't want to. They say that my bike can scratch their interior. I had no choice but to use my new bike to ride home while wearing a huge backpack, a duffle bag and a body bag. I forgot how I managed to do that but I arrived home safely. But wait there's more! As I secure my bike, I noticed a huge dog poo at my front wheel! What a night!

My First Online Purchase
Actually my first online purchase dated back January 14, 2009 but I officially got the item today from the local post office. All thanks to Play Asia.
I ordered from Play Asia immediately after I got my Visa credit card from HSBC. Yes, fresh from activation. I chose Neon Genesis Evangelion 1/7 Scale Pre-Painted Statue: Asuka Langley Gothic Lolita Version (Crimson Version) as my first online order to commemorate my first figure before which is the black one. I chose SAL as my shipping for it is free from Play Asia.

Elmo Iive!

After the success of Tickle Me Elmo last year, Fisher Price launched a new Elmo for the whole family. This new breed of Elmo, Elmo Live!, hailed as the "most innovative and engaging Elmo toy ever," will officially hit store shelves today (October 14th) for $59.99, though we suspect the first batch will be snapped up in no time flat. Of course, those of you intent on retaining your sanity probably pre-ordered a few months back, but for everyone else, your battle to get one of this year's hottest holiday gifts starts in under 24 hours. For those wondering what's so special about this fellow, he supposedly tells jokes and makes movements that "give kids the feeling that Elmo is alive in their own homes."
